Chessclub Gambiitti
Gambiitti is a chessclub from Vantaa, Finland. We have activities in Vantaa and greater Helsinki region. Our club is a great choice for players from Vantaa, Helsinki, Kerava, Tuusula and Järvenpää areas. We welcome both beginners and experienced players. Thursday's club meetings in Koivukylä, Vantaa
Our club meetings are held weekly on Thursdays in Koivukylän asukastila. Meetings start at 18:15 and end around 20:30-21:00. Asukastila's address is Hakopolku 2, Vantaa (200 meters from Koivukylä railway station). At the meetings we play rapid and blitz chess and analyze chess games and tactics problems. Beginners get free coaching and training. Club meetings are free of charge for all players.
10 minute + 5 second increment tournament on Wednesdays in Helsinki Chess Arena
Gambiitti organizes 5 round tournament in Helsinki Chess Arena. Arena's address is Hiomotie 10, Helsinki (Pitäjänmäki area). Tournament is held every Wednesday. Games start at 18:00. Time control is 10 minutes + 5 seconds extra time per move per player. Participation fee is 4 euros for Gambiitti members, 3 euros for youngsters (U20) and 5 euros for non-Gambiitti players.
